Shout out to DC Public Library for the diversity of interesting, engaging, and entertaining events. I learned so much about Black Georgetown tonight!

I might walk in solo but I’m always surrounded by my beautiful Sorors. ❤️

I recited today’s verse over and over like a song when sitting for the LSAT for the 2nd time after giving birth less than a year prior.

Went in the office today exhausted and still settled the case!

No ChatGPT required, the writing is on the wall. 🙏🏽❤️ #lovemyjob

NeeNee Tay said tag and share and show love to your elders and ancestors!

I love my parents Fred & Shelby Carmichael who met right here in SE, DC at Ballou High School. They did a great job and taught me how to be a great neighbor, to strive and work hard and to care for those I love.

But sometimes it’s the people we choose and who choose us that help us get to the place where we are able to fully show up and out the way God intended us to. For over a decade Willie Williams has been one of those people for me. My SE Dad as I call him, has been voluntelling me to do things and just like my natural parents I only listen from time to time. 😉😂

I say all this to say, thank you for leading and not eating the next generation. Thank you for serving as a shining and true example of community leadership, dedication, fatherhood, family, and fun! Your doors and ears are always open and your heart is full of love.

#Juneteenth is going to be amazng thank you for your vision and leadership.
